Greetings!

The addition of classes at The Lab has been a great success but we know you want more. Well we are giving you just that! In addition to the full body strengthening workout offered through BodyPump and the calorie torching cardio workout through RPM, now BodyFlow is going to increase your flexibility and strength and leave you feeling centered and calm.

February 9th, 2011 will be the launch of our first BodyFlow class. Just as you have been, you will sign up in advance (via at the front desk, by phone or email) for the date and time you will be attending. Keep our cancellation policy in mind and consider others who may want to be in class when you know you will be unable to attend. Call or email a.s.a.p you know you will be unable to attend class and we will take you off the sign in.

After our first class, again Wednesday, February 9th at 7:00pm, the next class will be on Monday, February 14th at 10:00am. Every Monday and Wednesday at 10am and 7pm, respectively, will be the set times for BodyFlow. Remember to take home our Group Fitness Schedule/Timetable the next time you are in the gym. They are found on top of the cooler in the front lobby.

All You Need to Know About BodyFlow
Bridge BODYFLOW™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYFLOW™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.


A Typical Class
Class BodyflowEach class is made up of 45 minutes of simple but challenging exercises, followed by 10 minutes of relaxation and meditation.

First, you will begin with easy, flowing Tai Chi moves to leave your day behind, center yourself and warm your body.

Second, the instructor will then take you through various yoga and pilates sequences to strengthen and tone your key muscle groups. Poses and stretches are used to create suppleness and flexibility.

Third, the final 10 minutes are set aside for the widely acknowledged mental and physiological benefits of meditation which also enhances the effects of the exercise.

How Often Should You Do BodyFlow?
While you’ll feel real benefits from coming to class just once a week, most people try to come three times a week. It’s really up to you!

What You Need to Bring.

* Comfortable workout clothes.
* Don’t worry about shoes, as you will do the class barefoot.
* A yoga mat isn’t essential, but bring one if you like. We will provide mats.
