The Lab’s Philosophy:
1) First do no harm
2) Workout density (build it)
3) Progressive resistance
4) Progressive exercise/movement
It’s all how you do it. All exercises are dangerous (when done wrong). So is brushing your teeth. And as Tom and I like to say, “99% of pain, is bad form (‘bad’ pain anyway)”. But, Tom squats or deadlifts in EVERY workout he does. He earned his way there through a series of progressions and now they are staples.
